I think I prefer the first shot for the actual shape of the crown, the size of of it within the image, and the light dropoff on the plexi-glass. Purely down to personal preference though and the blue/red crown is has a great colour divide.

I'll definately try this when I have off camera flash.

Awesome!

I have the kit and just got it to work this weekend. I got a few decent ones while messing with it last night, but then my 9-volt died and it was late... so I took it as a sign to clean up and actually get some sleep.

I am looking forward to trying something like this though... thanks for the set up info!

Default Flash Trigger

I am interesting in knowing more about the trigger. Does it take a photo the second movement is sensed ? Anyone know where we would get one in the UK I think it would be a brilliant classroom activity.
