For halloween, we dressed up at work. Three of the managers (one of who is a photographer) came as zombies. The one who is a photog brought his lights in and we had some fun.
For this shot, I laid on the ground with a reflector on my chest, soft boxes were above the zombies trying to grab me. ![]() UnDead Dev Managers by Wade Courtney, on Flickr |

I like it. The "bloomy" doesnt bother me. With all the white and blurriness around the edges, it looks like the victim woke up in a hospital where the staff has been infected. Very creepy in the fact that it's too late to do anything.
Very cool job that you can dress like this. |

this is awesome, the lighting is fine. you could do it either really dark, really bright, or midrange. the bright white gives the feeling of the viewer waking up in a hospital
you guys just did this at work for fun? it seems like it would take a while to set everything up

Hi Wade,
I really like this photo, it makes me feel like you are a patient at some hospital and they are about to eat you. It reminds me the new tv series "The walking dead", this could be a good scene taken from it, precisely when the sheriff wakes up from the two years coma. I also saw your other halloween photos at your flickr and are awesome!! Cheers my friend!! |

As a massive zombie fan, I gotta admit I love this photo! Also fascinating to see the subjects (i.e. zombies) played in light than darkness. It's an interesting turn that really works well. Very nice.
