Default Zombies

For halloween, we dressed up at work. Three of the managers (one of who is a photographer) came as zombies. The one who is a photog brought his lights in and we had some fun.

For this shot, I laid on the ground with a reflector on my chest, soft boxes were above the zombies trying to grab me.

It looks like you're already "seeing the light" before they've even started eating you Great shot if a little "bloomy".

I like it. The "bloomy" doesnt bother me. With all the white and blurriness around the edges, it looks like the victim woke up in a hospital where the staff has been infected. Very creepy in the fact that it's too late to do anything.
Very cool job that you can dress like this.

To me the lighting doesn't suit the subject matter. And is it appropriate that this is my 666th post?

Even though the 'number of the beast' is actually 656. True fact.

this is awesome, the lighting is fine. you could do it either really dark, really bright, or midrange. the bright white gives the feeling of the viewer waking up in a hospital

you guys just did this at work for fun? it seems like it would take a while to set everything up

Hi Wade,

I really like this photo, it makes me feel like you are a patient at some hospital and they are about to eat you. It reminds me the new tv series "The walking dead", this could be a good scene taken from it, precisely when the sheriff wakes up from the two years coma.

I also saw your other halloween photos at your flickr and are awesome!!

Cheers my friend!!

As a massive zombie fan, I gotta admit I love this photo! Also fascinating to see the subjects (i.e. zombies) played in light than darkness. It's an interesting turn that really works well. Very nice.

There is another photographer at work who has all of the lights. People at my job dress up on halloween and I volunteered to take pictures of them for practice. These guys walked around all day dressed like that.
