Default Post It notes

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, I did a quick search of the forums and didn't see it. Post it notes can make flash photography a little more colorful. I actually had two slave flashes for these shots, one camera left and one camera right, and just put a purple (it looks rather pink in the shot) and a blue Post It over the flashes. Unintentionally I got some interesting shadows because of the flash on the left.

I had to do a little cloning on one of the stamens on this one because it had a flash of blue on in from the flash and it just looked very bad. Other than that both photos are SOOC. The blue Post It was to the left in this one, purple is to the right.
Lily II

The Post It notes are reversed.
Lily

One of the advantages of having a camera when boredom and insomnia strike. Interesting possibly new stuff happens.

Yeah I really used colored Post It notes. The three question marks made me initially think that it was sarcasm though.

Thanks, for the expense of a Post It note I think that it is worth it.

no no no sarcasm here............that was me thinking how clever you were to think of this.

I'm so sorry if it came across that way.

It's quite alright. I believe that it is my own fault I sometimes hang out with sarcastic people so it makes me unintentionally look for sarcasm. Again thanks.

Very cool! One question though. What was the setting of the two camera's? you say left and right, but do you mean exactly next to eachother? Or some difference?

Great pictures. I actually subscribed just for these ones.

Thank you for the compliment.

I will try to explain it. I am just guessing about the measurements, this should convey the general placement though. The flash on the right was on the ground and about a foot away from the flower pointing up at about a 30 degree angle. The flash on the left was even with the flower about a foot away and about half a foot closer to the camera when compared to the other flash. Both flashes were pointing directly at the flower. Does that help with a visual?
