Wasn't sure where else to put this.
Lately when I've been browsing Flickr I've noticed that the shadows in a lot of pictures tend to get "blocked up" for lack of a better definition. Especially in black and white pictures, it almost looks like the picture is posterized. For example, I can see it in the arm in this picture. Thinking it might be my browser, I switched to opera and the problem is much better. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, have you found a way to modify firefox to prevent it? I'd rather not switch browsers, but will if I have to... |

I'm looking at them side by side in FF & Chrome and can't see any difference?
Can you show screen shot? Could be a setting in your FF? Cheers Free

I think I know what you are talking about. I tend to see it at work.
I *believe* it is a screen resolution issue. Check you screen settings and make sure the color resolution is as high as it can be.

Not sure it will help but you could try un-installing FF and then install a clean build, I've had to do it to get rid of something weird a couple years back.

Check what version of FF you have, maybe it's outdated.
But my better advice is to stick to Opera. Opera rulez 'em all!
