This may not really matter, but I was wondering if the puporse of the assignments was to get us out to take new pictures to help us hone our skills as photographers, or is it just to showcase shots we've already taken? Or both?
I haven't gone through and counted or created a spreadsheet or anything, but it appears that many of the photos (probably even a couple of mine) that are posted for assignments are photos that have been taken in the past and then posted to match the assignment. I've been so busy with work lately that I haven't been able to keep up with the assignments. But, I do find myself looking for shots for assignments while I'm driving around doing my service calls, and that helps to keep me focused and excited about photography. Anyway...
