Jim,
I am going to this weekends Rams/Packers game and I was wondering if you have any tips for someone that might be shooting from the stands vs on field. I have 8th row seats (30 yd line) so I like my vantage point for the game but how about before the game? Anything you would suggest? What time do the players usually come out and throw around/practice before they dress out? Any tips or helpful advice would be appreciated! ![]() Thank you

Players normally filter onto to the field to stretch and warm up about a hour and a half before the game. Then again they go out in their prospective groups: Linebackers, defensive backs, kickers, backs, tight ends, defensive linemen and so on and practice as a unit.
From that height you should get some pretty decent shoots. Especially of the team area. Have fun

That, right there, is why I don't go to Football games. Something about sitting outside for 3 hours in the snow just doesn't fly.

If you sneak a 400mm lens in, maybe.

I would try that but unfortunatley its a dome stadium
I prefer the elements such as Quest field in the picture you posted Osmosis. That stadium with the cityscape in the backdrop is unbelieveable. I don't think the TWA Dome will give me the same vista. Fried Chicken: This is where my seats are so I hope I can see the ball!
