I, personally, never have been enrolled in classes through AIO, but my BF has. He got a degree in Web Design and Interactive Media, and he also took some classes in Photography and he enjoyed them. He said it was a good way to learn the basics... But with diligent reading and studying on your own you could learn just as much as he paid to learn... That is just what he said, though, so don't base your decision solely on that!!

I called them for info... they have a 30-40 minute format online you do with a person then you find out they charge I think it was $495 per credit hour. That can be a total of $72K for a degree. I know education is important, but for me, that is just way too much. I'm too old for that kind of money...

I looked into as well and thought the rates were super high. After I told them no thanks they continued to call me for 2 months afterwards

$500/credit hr is indeed VERY high.
I'm currently paying $5500 CAD a year for school, and that gives me a full 5 credits, each numbering 45-50hrs. That comes to $22/credit hour. Admittedly, Canadian Universities are subsidized, but that's still well over 20 TIMES the cost.
