Are you meaning a watermark on your photos or a signature in the forums? (Sorry, it's early here and I'm pre-coffee )

Hi Nicole - a watermark in your photos.......sorry! OR even a signature at the bottom of your photos so people viewing them on websites know it's your work.

Agreed,
Even Picasa 3 or Picnik will work fine.

In PSE7 (the easy way)

create a new layer (ctrl J)
You will see a “T” on the left (if you’re using windows) …that means “text” …Click that
Drag a box over the image
Type your name
Change the colour/font
Click OK
Move it to where you want it.

use the opacity slider to make it kindof see through

If in doubt, youtube will have a tutorial on it

I created mine as a custom brush tool, so I don't have to redo it all the time. It's not a watermark, but a solid item, but you can change the colour and resize it. I'm searching for the tutorial that showed me how to do it, but haven't found it yet. Will keep looking...

This isn't the exact one I used, but if memory serves me correctly, it's a similar process -
PhotoShop Photo Editing | digital photo signature stamp using brush tool

This would be for Photoshop CS3, so you may be able to do the same thing in Elements.
