The American in me never forgets this day, and the events that have happened because of this very moment.
The Photographer in me can't believe this guy caught this moment on film. Yes, film. He developed the picture at a 1 hour Photo lab (I think it took 2 hours because of the wait) and by that afternoon, this was on the editor's desk of the New York Times. When interviewed, he said that he clicked as soon as he heard the noise but had NO IDEA what he'd caught on film. Miraculously, this is the instant the second plane hit. What a moving picture! 9/11 is surely engraved as a black day in the books of time.
God bless all the innocent souls and all the families that lost a dear one that day.
