Default What mode do you shoot in?

Just curious as to what mode everyone shoots in most often.

99% of the time I shoot in manual combined with centre weighted metering (I'd like to use spot metering, but my camera doesn't have that ). I like the consistency it gives me - no matter whether something moves or wheter I recompose, I always get the same exposure unless I change something.

most often is M.. next most often is A next most often is S

use Center weighted most often, then Spot, then Matrix

but this will vary alot depending on what people shoot.

Manual with spot metering most of the time. I keep thinking I need to branch out a little more in my metering modes though

I use whatever mode is best for the situation. Usually that is manual or aperture priority. Occasionally I will use shutter priority but rarely.

I use auto mode only when I have little kids running all around and I don't care about specifics. It becomes my point-and-shoot camera in moments like these. I'm not an action photographer.

There should be an option in the poll for a combination. There is no one mode I use "most often". It depends entirely on what/where/when/how I'm shooting.

I use whatever mode is best for the situation. Being a photojournalist, who shoots a variety of assignments, mainly sports, I normally shutter priority to control the shutter speed. For everything else I use aperture priority. Occasionally I will use manual but rarely, only when the exposures are weird. The MKII exposures are so good that I turn the camera on most shoots.

Depends on what I am shooting and how. In studio full manual all the time. For location work usually aperture priority since I don't want to have to adjust shutter speed constantly if the sun goes behind a cloud.

I use a combination of P or A most of the time. S very rarely and M when the other modes won't give me what I want.

manual whenever I feel in control of things but I am not afraid or too proud to switch to anything the situation dictates. Full auto especially with flash snaps is not the worst option in the world!
