Hey everyone. I had a question about taking pictures while on a flight. I am taking my first flight in the middle of June and was fortunate enough to get a window seat. My question is if I am allowed to take pictures of everything outside or if it is against regulations or anything. I'm already going to have my camera with me as carry-on since there's no way I'm checking it so I just thought it would be a nice opportunity to take pictures of the landscapes I'm flying over and maybe the plane itself. Does it vary per airline or should I ask before the flight, will people freak out? I don't know any of these things. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am virtually certain that you will have no problem taking photos out the windows. I have never heard of any troubles, and I have seen plenty of people taking photos out the windows. The only thing I can think of which may cause problems is if you tried to take photos of any specific equipment within the plane... say, at the stewardess' stations.

Out the window shouldnt be a problem: Hope you got a leading-edge seat!
When in doubt, ask the stewardess.
