Nah, not if you just go all Latin / scientific about it... I mean, don't most bears fall into the Ursus genus?

Default U is for uniform

Shot this at my son's football game and tried using the "break the rules approach" and took it at an angle. Post of the parents tried to correct me that I was not holding the camera straight!

This is my first post, hope I did it right.

Yes, that has worked. I think the angle works okay in this picture. I don't know if it would have been possible here but it often works well to combine an angle with a different vantage point - for example, getting lower, getting closer and looking up at the faces as they walk by. That way it enhances the dynamism of the shot and there is less chance somebody thinks you couldn't hold the camera straight (although there will always be one or two!).

Post Tower Up

Shot this at work the other day, it is a testing tower for microwave antennas.

Tower Up!

I like the sepia tone, make it look old and interesting.

Awesome shot JC! I love your bug pics. One of two things are going to have to take place. Either I'm going to have to come to Fulton to see some of the most interesting critters on earth, or I'm going to have to get a macro lens and open my eyes for once and see what kind of little things live here in GA.

I'm really leaning towards the lens .
