I wouldn't know how to tell if the 800 is, I know that he looked at it and the much higher price he had on it and said, "It has more scratches on it than I like, . . . .you want that too.(speaking of the lens)" This is paraphrased but you get the gist. I don't believe the lens is. It's one of the older lens. I'm very impressed by how fast it's focuses considering the age. It searches in low light but they all do. No ffungus and it goes through all the apertures very smoothly. No lens creep. The lens had the rubber coming loose on the zoom ring. This was fixed in about 2 seconds. What would be identifying features of these to tell? I honestly don't really consider this. I'm not going to be able to warranty them with Nikon. They were used. But I would be curious as to how to tell this. Ok, playing with commander mode and CLS. Can someone give me an Amen? |
