Default Cokin filter sys.

Does anybody use the Cokin x-pro system? I am looking to buy a setup and found this from B+H Photo.http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ml#accessories
I know I will still need adaptor rings but I would like to try to find out if Cokin is a good setup. I know there is Lee filters out there but I also heard they are alot more money. I will have to buy adapter rings for all my lenses seeing they are all different sizes. One of my main concerns is the 16-35 lens. I don't want any vigenetting. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You have a lot of fantastic gear, why use Cokin filters on them?
Cokin can be okay, but Lee might even be better.
And sure, Lee is a little more expensive but why would you take the risk of degrading your pictures by using lower quality filters?
If you're not entirely happy with the result, you're not going to use these filters often and that's imho a waste of money.

What you also could do is buying a Cokin filter holder with Lee filters. They're compatible according to Cokin.

Thanks Beunky. I hear what your saying. I just cannot find to many reviews on the Lee system. I have found alot or reviews on Cokin and people do seem happy. I am also looking at the Lee setup still.http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc....html#includes
It is a little more but if it is better than thats the way I will go.

Here are some links that may be usefull:

General consenus seems to be that Lee is the thing to get when you're shooting landscapes et cetera a lot (and thus use these filters a lot) and Cokin is the thing to get when you're an accidental user.

Thanks again Beunky for the links. It looks like it is going to be the Lee system. Now I have to save just a little bit longer to get it.
Thanks

A good choice I think. I'm sorry to put you through the saving process a little longer

I can't get Lee in Holland, that's a bummer since I haven't got any ND filters yet.
I'm thinking of buying them in the UK.

Maybe look at the Cokin P system too. The X-pro is meant for medium format systems. The P system with the wide angle filter holder won't cause vignetteing on your 16-35.

why would anybody want to put a piece of plastic in front of their lenses. I owned a cokin system in the late 70's, spent tons of money and ended up throwing it all away.
