Default A Quick suggestion.

I am new here but just noticed the right click save option is not disabled here ? I know some can work around that but still think it should be simply because some of the pics are to such a high standard it would be a shame for someone's hard work to get noticed and nicked.

My lil tuppence worth

We kind of hope that people wouldnt steal other people's work around here simply because we're all in it together.

Tha'ts kinda like Robin hood stealing from the poor to give to the poor.

Well, that's true for members...but what about people that are looking for photos and aren't members, that just do a search for "photography forums" or whatever, end up here? Take a look at the bottom of the screen. Right now as I type this it says:

"Currently Active Users: 125 (43 members and 82 guests) "

Hoping for the best is good.

So is tineye.com, LOL!

LOL!

That was my point and from experience thise wiewing not members will in part (not all) happily nick em we had case here of a guy having a pic he took appearing in a magazine no asking just bam there it was... I asked simply for the standard of some here they are pretty well perfect and would be a shame for the person to have their hard work stolen. I know they get bragging rights but that is about it. Would be nicer for them to be asked for it and maybe some note added which a disclaimer and copyright etc would give them ... that or we all slap watermakrs on them.

I have actually had one of my photographs taken from a website before. The only reason that I knew about it was because the person sent me a copy of what he was planning on doing with my picture and in an email asking me if he could use my picture for the flyer that he was making. Since then I have put watermarks on all my pictures that I post anywhere. I try and make them subtle though.
