I like it too, great looking site and again id say my only whine was when i click on a picture it doesnt go big enough. Good job actually.
Can I ask what you used to make it or is it a template off whichever host you chose? Something like that id quite like to be honest. |

Looks like the template was done in iWeb or Adobe photoshop. My only concern is that while it's clean looking and easy to get around, the photos are much too small.

Thanks for looking everyone. I tried to make for photos small enough that no one could use them. I need to update the site and fix the size issue.
Thanks again

You can make the photos a little larger, but in iWeb you can also disable the download option.

Hi Lee
Ok First off the pics as everyone points out are way too small to show off your work. There are some lovely shots !! but I would strongly suggest disabling the right click save ability for a start. then look at Lytebox or similar (I see it is done on a Mac) and have the images on the Page rather than "pop" out in another window I know I find extra windows opening annoying. Whilst a Lytebox means you can have the images just there on the same page and to me looks more cohesive within the site. Next GET THE E-MAIL off the page !!! Sorry to shout but you will be spammed into kingdom come with an e-mail so openly on the net. =)) Try looking into a flash banner for the images on the Home Page and have a Contact Us Page for your e-mail etc etc ... Now that is the negatives... (few and only minor ones) The positives... Lovely layout lovely clean design and very very easy on the eye and to navigate if this is your first site be proud of it !! I have seen some horrors. and this is simply Well exectued with some newbie errors (we all make em) ... Also I would say SELL yourself more Do yourself justice if you like I will mail you the wording changes I would make tomo.. it is 1.00 am here UK time ! so night night Again well done nice and clean sites are the best to have these days well done.!! FoG

Layout is clean. It's simple. That being said, there are a few things I'd change.
More definition between the dark grey background and light grey content area. They share the pattern, so the only difference is the colour change. Youve got 2 options, in my eyes, here. The first, and best, would be to simply remove the texture on the lighter portion of the page, setting it as a flat colour. Your second, and something you could do alongside the first, is to add either a subtle shadow (outer glow) to the content area, or a border or some sort (a single white pixel on either side would do). The copyright disclaimer at the bottom of your page SHOULD be centered and considerably smaller. And not in bold. If possible, remove the "MADE ON A MAC" logo on the bottom. Replace with a single pixel-width line and your copyright disclaimer. About page: There's no need to list out your equipment. For one, it makes it seem like youre trying to show off, and it clutters the page: less is often more. Besides, its not like youre gonna base your choice of carpenter based on what hammer he uses ![]() Small thing: I don't know how iWeb makes pages (i dont use it), but the code for the images and banners is a bit overthought and complicated for no reason. There are MUCH easier and faster-loading ways of doing what it's doing: give me a shout if you need any help figuring it out.

Wow, what great advice. I have made some changes but, there is even more good advice since those changes have been made.
FoG if you would send the wording changes that would be great. Thanks in advance. OsmosisStudios, thanks for the input. It was my first attempt. Some of the changes are made but I didn't get your thoughts until after. I don't know much about this website stuff but, I have a programmer of my staff who will help. I will have him have a look at your suggestions. Thanks again. I have liked the help. I have not considered any comment bad, just helpful and advising. With the few changes that are made so far I am happier with what I see. Keep checking back and let me know what your thoughts are. Someday someone may even mistake me for a Photographer, lol.
