Default Big Problem - Help

I have to photograph some preschoolers today and of course its RAINING....so my question is more about the boys. I have daffodils for the girls to hold, but would a boy look funny holding a flower, and if not, HOW do I get the kid to hold it, or shouldI place on the floor somewhere?

It WAS overcast, now its just rainy...

Hmm, its pozed to be spring photos and I think they are dressing the kids up in their "Sunday Best" But great idea about baseball - maybe I will have them hold a baseball, or softball - cuter with the little ones....Cannot believe I am JUST thinking about this.

Sorry to hear about the rain. That just sucks.

I'm not sure I would do flowers for the boys what about toy frogs ?? or a fishing pole ? I'm iffy with these and the Sunday Best .... but the flowers just don't sound guyish enough for some of the dads. Or for them have the flowers on the ground ...

Girls can hold the flowers or maybe a spring basket that has them in it ? Or bring some pretty hats left over from Easter .. Target had them for a buck when I grabbed some.

A to-scale baseball bat is the best idea i think, or maybe a glove

Depending on the age -- baseball bat/glove/ball, books, toy blocks or trucks, musical instruments (there are often cheap classroom ones, like tambourines), a piece of their own recent work (such as a picture drawn in class).

Bunnies are springy ... in more ways than one. One of my son's pre-school pictures was made with him petting a small rabbit.

Are you photographing them as a group, or individually? A small chair could work out well, sitting, standing behind, etc...Good luck
