Default It came in on Friday!

I got my camera on Friday and having fun already! I am going to need help with the settings but I know that is the place to get them!

Congrats on your new camera.
By setting do you mean general settings or setting while shooting in manual(like shutter spd. ISO, Aperture etc)?
If you didn't get a user guide with the camera, i suggest you download one from the internet.

Ah, but knowing what the settings are and knowing how to use them are totally different things. A car manual will tell you where the controls are, but it won't tell you how to drive!

Castman, I suggest you search the main site for the beginner's articles, the photography 101 series which is ongoing was very useful for me.

Nice score! I have an XTi and recently got a 50mm f/1.8. But the lens you have will be a nice addition to the camera.

Congrats on the new camera.

By settings, do you mean setting up the camera in the menu (JPEG or RAW, Picture Styles, Color Space, Custom Functions, etc...)? Or exposure settings (ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, Manual, Av, Tv, P, AUTO, etc...)?
