Well the temple of Diana, that I mention specifically, has some flowers, as well as some paintings that would be interesting to see in a macro lens. Not to mention any pictures taken through dew drops etc. The creativity of the locations would dictate the kind of macro taken. As to what the others hold for possibilities, I don't know, as I've never been.

I pretty much assume I have a snowballs chance in hell of winning this, but I entered anyway

My dream assignment is to photograph the Amazon rain forest before it all disappears! I'm not just talking about pictures of trees here, but the wildlife and people too.

My entry is here.

Gotcha - now it sounds really interesting

I haven't used a macro before but your dew drop idea for the wonders would be really cool

Hey all. I just wanted to take a sec to lobby for some votes for my idea. I've managed to stay in the Top 20 for pretty much the entire month (mostly by incessantly nagging friends, family, coworkers, and anyone that will listen) but with only two days left in the contest everyone is making a mad dash for votes and I'm perilously close to being left in the dust.

Please take a second to stop by http://www.nameyourdreamassignment.c...e-simple-joys/ and vote for my idea. It really is a dream assignment of mine, and it would mean the world to me if I finished in the Top 20 and was at least considered for the prize.

I know I'm not the most prolific poster on the forums, but I do like to consider myself part of the community (or at least part of the lurker population), and it'd be really cool if "one of our own" made it into the shortlist.

Thanks.
