Default I've always wanted to hike the Inca Trail

So here's my dream assignment entry: http://www.nameyourdreamassignment.c...l-at-solstice/

I want to do a long exposure star trail at the top- and do a lot of grand wide angle landscape shots. Sunrise, sunset... write a book about the experience.

Default My idea

My dream assignment would be to document the disappearing cultures that reside along the Pan- American Highway, a network of roads nearly 48,000 kilometers (29,800 miles) in total length that stretch from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, in North America to the lower reaches of South America.

The Pan-American Highway passes through many diverse climates and ecological types, from dense jungles to cold mountain passes. Since the highway passes through many countries, it is possible to capture the spirit of these places through images of the ordinary inhabitants.

“The work that I want to do is an accurately document of indigenous people in their environment and within their own cultures and traditions before they all potentially disappear.”

I have two ideas up currently, but the one I'm really hoping becomes popular is my "The Simple Joys" idea. I want to travel the world and capture images of people finding joy and happiness in the simplest and humblest of places. We see enough pain and sorrow every day. We need a little joy.
