Default P is for...

It has been pouring rain here all week and in between storms it has been wickedly hot, so I've been limited to indoor shots. We have a new pet at our house, a kitten named Loki, so I've been trying to get some shots of him this morning. Very uncooperative model. Managed one when he tired out and cropped it close to eliminate cluttered background. Not too happy with it, but that's what happens when you wait to the last minute!

Finally!! I've been waiting for this letter for a long time! I can now use this shot. I have no idea why I've held onto this picture, but I can now say that it was for a good reason!

"P" is for Pump.

Default P is for.....

Pumpkin!

We harvested this 55lb pumpkin on July 25. Our first attempt ever at growing pumpkins. Next year we will plant a bit later so they can be harvested at a better time.
