![]() The only thing the pedant in me picks up on is that is a zoom lens is one that allows you to change focal length without changing the focus distance. There are lenses like the Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 that allow you to change focal length but it changes the focus distance as you do...technically it's not a zoom lens...I think they're called varifocal lenses or something(not as complicated to make as a zoom apparently). Also, when focussing a prime lens you are also changing the focal length...focal length is usually measured with lenses set to infinity focus. Minor detail but am sure the geeks amongst us like knowing this stuff
