Default This is so unfair

I ordered a Canon 24-70 F2.8 L on Saturday. I paid a little extra to have it shipped faster. Right now it's waiting in Ypsilanti about 10 miles away and it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow!

That's it the next brown truck I see I'm going to chase him down like T-1000 then proceed to a patented UPS beat down.

Where is the crying smiley. I don't see one; I guess this will have to do.

It used to be that when I had something shipped via UPS it would get to me in two days, no matter what I paid for. Living so close to their headquarters, and a central hub had it's advantages. However, at some point they decided getting me my stuff in two days, when I paid for 5-10 day delivery didn't work for them. So now my stuff gets to their hub and sits in a warehouse for three days. I guess to make sure I pay the extra when I really need/want it faster.

I totally understand...being in Memphis, this is a major distribution location. Often times, I order something and the warehouse it's shipped from is right in the vicinity and I still have to wait for 5-10 days for something that I wish I could have just driven to and picked up.

Murtasma, I feel your pain...

I think I may go to the Diso center and pick it up in person after work. If they let me do that kinda thing. If they won't then I'll break in at night tonight and take it, along with a few other packages (only the heavy ones) MURHAHAHAHAH.

Call them on the phone and see if you can get them to hold it in the facility today. I learned the hard way once it hits the truck it has to sit there overnight because of some stupid policy. They wouldn't pull it off the truck for me. I thought I was going to have to get stabby.

I feel your pain! I'm in the same pickle right now. My new 50mm is sitting three blocks away from me at our local UPS center. It was supposed to be delivered today since I paid extra to have it overnighted.

Now it won't show up until tomorrow, and UPS is supposed to call me back and let me know if I can go over to pick it up. They are going to have to let me, since I have to work the next three days and am leaving town Friday afternoon to go on vacation! First I'm going to wheedle and cajole them, and next I'm just going over there to get the darn thing. The light outside is perfect right now too....

Update: So UPS called me back and said that they were going to pull the package off of the truck so I could pick it up tonight. Apparently their updating tracking is a little off and it's actually out for delivery! Yahoo! I hope they goofed on yours too Murtasma!
