M is for masonry (a 1.5" hole chipped through the centre of this stone by my own fair hands!):

Clever photo Wulf , I fined my eye is drawn to the hole which is out of focus then my brain goes int overdrive trying to work out what is happening.

I am sure it is to do with my western way of looking at things, it doesn't compute. That is until you let the viewer know that we are looking through a hole. Great.

I think you are looking at nothing more than the floor that was a few feet underneath the stone (laid flat on the workbench). However, I am pleased with it and think it does work as an interesting image because it inverts the normal idea of in-focus subject surrounded by out of focus background.
