Hi,
My name is Rose and I live in Kloof, Durban, South Africa. I became interested in photography after repeatedly visiting game reserves and taking "shots" of the animals. I then got a Canon 450D in November last year and have become very passionate about this hobby now. I find this forum one of the most interesting sites and have often looked at it before purchasing something new in the photography line to learn what other readers think. I am pretty new to this posting threads thing so will watch and hopefully learn.

I would like to introduce myself. I've been an artist and teacher for over thirty years. I've taken alot of traditional photos using 35mm cameras. In the last five or six years started taking alot of digital shots. I found this site really helpful in taking digital photography and great for reference.

Hi Guys I am new here. My name is Adrian and I am a designer from Arkansas. I love photography but unfortunately I haven't been able to buy a nice camera. I currently just use my wife's Canon Powershot to take some of the pictures you see here: Flickr: rodriguez8355's Photostream.
I love photography and always had a passion for it, but what hindered me to go further into it was the expensiveness of the hobby. Anyway, its great to be here, and I hope to learn some tricks on how to set up this powershot and make some cool photos. |

Hello all
My name is Terri. I am a 35 year old mother of three, wife of 13 years and very busy accountant. Photos have always been important to me and I love seeing a good quality shot (especially of my kids). For my birthday this year, I was spoiled by getting a new Nikon D3000. Now the trick is trying to figure out how to use it That is why I am here. My son pays football (generallly during the day) and my daughter is a cheerleader. They also both play baseball/softball. So, I am constantly trying to figure out the best way to take a good action shot of them. Any and ALL tips would be greatly appreciated!!I look forward to getting to know you all too :-) |

Hi! I'm Sharon from Minnesota. I'm currantly using a better PnS to learn and practice with adjusting settings. I'm also researching the brands of DSLs as I plan to buy in the not too distant future.
I love photography and have been teaching myself through online, reading books and just taking alot of photos, but no formal training yet. I enjoy landscapes and gardens/flowers the most. This is my first time posting, so we'll see if it appears after I click the next button..... |

Hi, my name is Amber and im 17 years old.
I live in the UK and have been in to photography, but I have only been using simple digital cameras since. A friend of mine recently showed me some of his more professional shots that he had taken in the Lake Destrict whilst out on a trip with a photography group. After some thought I decided that I would buy myself a professional camera, possibly the Nikon D80. ![]() I thought joining a forum would be best so I could show my works, pick up tips and discuss photography with other lovers. And I found YOU. Feel free to chat to me whenever and I hope to talk to some of you soon.
