My Name is Susan and I'm from upstate New York. This is my first post and I'm looking forward to learning how to take better pictures. I have a Canon powershot 620A and a Canon Rebel XT. I would love to find out how to take great pictures of Cardinals. They are so bright and beautiful. I seem to make them come out dull! Any suggestions?

Hello,
My name is Barka Fabianova, I come from Prague, the Czech republic. I'm doing photos since 2005 and this time I'm using Canon EOS 350D/Rebel with Tamron 17-55mm f/2,8, Canon 50mm f/1,4 and new Canon 100 mm/f2,8. I love to take mostly landscape and travel photogrpahy, but last time I do also more and more concert photography.

Hi! I'm Toni and although I've always loved photography, I've only gotten serious about it in the past year. Most of my previous photography were just snapshots of the family, friends, etc. Last year I was finally able to afford a DSLR, so I now have Canon Rebel XT, with the 18-55 mm kit lens and a 75-300 mm zoom lens. I just hope I get the 50 mm/1.8 lens for Christmas.

I have LOTS to learn when it comes to using my camera, so I'll take all the help I can get!

I live right on the line for Falconer and Gerry. I looked at your work that you have posted on your site. Beautiful! If you ever have the time I would love to learn from you.

Hi - my name is Sue or Moon whichever you like and I'm from the UK.

My Dad was an amateur photographer so I learnt to process b&w film from an early age. Had point and shoots until a couple of years ago when I bought a bridge camera (Fuji Finepix S6500fd). Will take pictures of anything that takes my fancy but like taking pics of my friends who play in rock bands.

Recently a friend of mine lent me his Canon EOS 300D, so I am having fun playing with that.

Any comments and criticism are most welcome.

Hi to all - my name is Kat and found this site doing a search on taking photos by candlelight. I must say I am impressed with all the knowledge and help this site gives. I am from Victoria, Australia and my main interests are macro, still life, flowers and landscape.

Hiya Moon - nice to see a familiar face

I'm 24 years old, and living in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Just recently discovered I have a passion for photography and invested in my first dslr - a Nikon D40 with 18-55mm VR lens, and an SB-600 flash - and am completely in love with it! Now I just have to convince my hubby to let me buy more equipment

Hellow everyone, I am Hernan Enriquez, am 61, got my first digital cam and computer in 2005, joined Pbase and have been learning a lot. My current cameras are a Powershot S2 IS and a Powershot A 720 IS which I carry everywhere, with 8MPs and 6X zoom it covers most of my needs except when I need to shoot airplanes that require more than the 200mm. equiv of the a 720. I live in north east FL and would like to meet other photogs in the area and attend some photoshoots.
