Default looking for some ideas for a long term project..

hello everyone.i`m excited-this is my first post!

i guess i can call myself a newbe in photography.i have a nikon d5000 and i just finished a basic photography course so i`m pretty familiar with all the basic aspects of photography.the thing is,i know that without practice i won`t get any better.and what can be better then taking a long term project-something like 52 weeks or so.the problem is i`m out of ideas.
just for general information-i live in israel,in a small city without any intresting things.belive me,i was looking.
so,looking for help

Think about applying a theme.. while it does give you a guideline daily and a focus, it can also challenge you by restricting that focus. A good example is Clouds:365 that went around... obviously pick your own thing...doesnt have to be a tangible either, it can be something else like, idk, the alphabet (yeah, i know thats only 26, but you get the idea)..

There are hundreds of thousands of project ideas on a place like Flickr, which can also give you a chance to look at other people's work, the consummate plan for getting inspired.

Default Welcome

I am new here today, but have been shooting and going to school for photography for about 3 years now. I started a 366 Project (leap year this coming year) and I started it on October 1, and just finished Day 80 today, and its a great project, I live in a small town of about 9,000. I have found that the little boring things, can make the best photos, best of luck of figuring out what you want to do as a long term project.
