Default Could Use Your Prayers

Hey everybody, I don't mean to bring anybody down today, but for those of you that pray my fiance could really use it right now. She was visiting family in Kentucky, and spent one night staying with a friend of hers. Her friend's boyfriend came over and they got into an argument and he started hitting her. My fiance jumped in to try to save her friend, and the guy picked her up and threw her though a window.. She lost a lot of blood and hit her head pretty hard, and now she has amnesia. She's stable, but I'm the only person she vaguely remembers, she doesn't even know her own sister, her twin. Right now I'm counting down the hours until my bus leaves and I can get there.

I know a lot of you don't know me, but I'm asking those of you that pray to please do so. Not for me, to be honest I could care less about myself, but for her. I don't think I've prayed as much my entire life as I have today.

For those of you that don't believe, I'm asking you to please keep your opinions to yourself if they aren't positive. Because I'm hanging on by a thread here and I'd prefer not to get banned for personal threats.

That said, thank you for those of you that do, it means a whole lot to me.

The cops said it was a domestic dispute and that he'd be in court today and probably out of jail by this afternoon. I'm sick of this damn legal system.

EmyB - thank you, that means a lot.

I'm not generally a praying sort of person but I will definitely spare a thought for you and your fiance. That is a terrible thing to happen to her and I hope that she will pull through.
My thoughts & best wishes to you both.

My thoughts are with you and her! It's still considered a domestic dispute if you pick someone up and throw them through a window?
I know some parts of the country are really lax on these types of things. Apparently, in some places you can beat your spouse to within inches of their life, put them in the hospital, and get not much more than a hand slap. I despise violence, but I can completely understand the vigilante mindset sometimes. This is one of them. I hope she makes a quick turn around!

Ahhh that's shit.. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

My wife has worked with amnesiacs, as I have once.. It often is just caused by the swelling after a blow to the head, and as the swelling goes down, the brain begins to sort itself out. I hope this is the case here.

Keep it together bud. I hope it works itself out soon and you get your loved one back as quick as possible.

Our thoughts and prayers for your fiance. I hope she she recovers quickly. Like SwissJon said once the swelling goes down she'll be okay.

Now for the guy that did it.... I better stop here.
