Whoah, cool! There was an eclipse like that a few years ago I think, but that was before I was really interested in photography.

Maybe this time, I'll take some cool shots!

Anyone know what time you'll be able to see it here in Illinois? We're Central time here.
The site said the times it would appear for other time zones, but I don't think it said anything about the Central time zone. Or maybe I'm crazy!
Or maybe you won't be able to see it here? I hope so, sounds really cool!

Nope, you won't be able to see it. Cause you can't see anything in illinois except for corn and beans, pigs and cows . I'm kidding lol, I grew up in Illinois, so I can say that. It's supposed to be visible for a very short time if you're in the central time zone. Not sure what time it's supposed to be though. I stopped reading when i found out I wouldn't be able to see it lol.

I've been waiting months for this day, and taken a zillion practice shots. The forecast is partly cloudy, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. might get lucky, ya never know ..fingers crossed
