Default HELP!! First Wedding!!!

Hey All!!
I stumbled on to this website and I am IN LOVE! I have my first wedding coming up at the end of the month and have read all of the articles on here and feel a little bit better but I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following:

1. What equipment I will need exactly. I have a Nikon D5000 18-55mm lens and a 50mm lens UV filter and a hood.

2. How to type up a model release for clients

3. Best place online to rent camera equipment

4. What exactly is a lightscoop, radio triggers, and speedlight (is it the same as a external flash)

5. What is the best mode to shoot with inside a church, outside, and at the reception??

6. If I shoot in RAW, how do I convert it into a JPEG??

THANKS SO MUCH!! WISH ME LUCK!!
Its Dec. 31st

Here are threads asking about the same thing as you which will help you. I really insist that you read through all of them and then there are a couple of websites you need to read up on with wedding and flash photography techniques.

Depends on the venue, but if the light is low, you're going to be struggling. I'm guessing you haven't been to the venue in advance.

Same place as above, just change the letters around to spell camera equipment rental.

This is when I start thinking you're in over your head. BTW, the link above could help with these as well.

"P" for professional like Missy MWAC advises here: MWAC Attack-Episode 1: The Camera - YouTube

At this point, I know you're in over your head.

facepalm.

there have been some good links provided, read them for sure.

also i am wondering...do you even own a camera? if not, i am wondering how the heck you got a paid camera gig, especially if you don't know what a speedlite is.

When I see these posts somehow in my mind I picture a nursing student standing with a scalpel in hand saying "Ok I got my first surgery scheduled can someone give me some pointers?"

Too late.

I am reminded of this:
LensRentals.com - FWIGTEW and Other First Wedding Acronyms

If the OP is serious and not just trolling, I send them to this fredmiranda post.

i think those two lenses are enough. for close shot use the 50mm and for a distant shot use 18-55mm.
i think buying a tripod is a plus.
check the converter given with the body of the camera. that can help you to convert the RAW to JPEG.
or you can search internet.
thanks
