Question Need help to decide on compact digital camera

Hi

Request as many advice as possible.
I love photography to the extent that if i am given a choice i would eat, breathe, talk, walk & sleep with my camera; now since i cannot carry my SX10IS everywhere, is it advisable to have a point - and -shoot camera always in my bag wherever i go.

Please advice. Also, advice on good and easy to the pocket point&shoot camera, preferably Canon [am die-hard fan of the brand]; though I have shortlisted "Canon Powershot A800"

Not sure where everything is up to now, but I'd highly recommend the Sony W series - in particular the W380. For more power but the same compact size, the Sony H series is win. I'd buy one myself but they don't do RAW !! :O

I got the canon a620 several years back. Still have it. Its a little big for a pocket though and takes 4 AA batteries. I'd like a smaller lighter one myself, that uses two AAs instead, that I can use backpacking.
