A gallery printed every photo uploaded to flickr in a 24 hour period. Over a million prints.

Maybe that guy can sell his image and make back his investment. Wasn't there a thread just a couple of days ago about a photo with a blue line across it sold for over $500,000?

I hope the gallery got releases from all those people. We wouldn't want copyright infringement, now would we?

I was just thinking the exact same thing Doug. Because it does say "every" photo in a 24 hour period

So long as this guy doesn't then go on to sell your image or charge for entrance, and as long as your image is on public display in Flickr and he destroys the images after the show, and doesn't make money directly from your image, I believe he's actually acting legally. I am not one to dive into the fine print of the Flickr licence, but he probably did before embarking on this. The public images on Flickr MUST be allowed to be reproduced, otherwise Flickr wouldn't be able to operate.

I do find this interesting, but I find it a shocking waste of paper and ink.

How old is he, 15? Who paid for all those prints?

I like his filing system. Looks like my desk.
