Thumbs up Can't wait to get my hands on it ......

So, I finally decided that getting a new camera (I was eying the Nikon D7000) is out of the question right now. (Unless someone wants to sponsor me ... !?) So at least I ordered a new lens for my D80. I opted for the 18-200mm VRII, since this is a lens I mostly will use when I am on vacation or on one of my other trips.

It is on the way here ... I track it on the web ... and I just can't wait to get my hands on it and take the first shots with it. Keep you posted. lechz

Congrats! I think you'll really enjoy your new lens. I have the same one, & use it more than any of my others.

That's exactly my reason for getting it. Plus I didn't want to carry too much glass on my trip next year.

Congrats!! I just ordered my D7000 but it is backordered.. so it will be a long wait.. Show us some pictures from your new toy

Just curious, you have Nikkor 18-135 and Sigma 70-300.. you still bought 18-200. Why?

I am trading in the other 2 lenses....I was going for an excellent walk-around lens with VR, which none of the others have. Plus, I don't have to change so often that way...

Hope you get your D7000 soon. I wished I could afford one; right now it's not an option though...
