Where am I going wrong?

What ever you call it - whether I needed some ego boost or encouragement to keep this passion alive. After going through all the responses I would say - I got little morale boost today and feel little confident that I have taken some good pictures that you guys liked.

There were two things - first, I needed some encouragement on my work and secondly some suggestions to grow as a photographer. I am glad that you guys have taken your precious time to see my photo stream. I am learning and will always learn, but I guess when we share our pictures, we have little expectation that others will also like it and I would see some sweet word or two. But when you don't get what you expected you are dissapointed and that's what happened to me.

Few things that I will take from the responses here are:
- Try to do critique on my pictures (though I do all the time) and then post it to critique section for some positive feedback for improvement.
- Try to get into weekly assignment challenges.
- Try to think out of box and add some jazz/story to my pictures.

Whenever I post a picture in SYS I try my best to select the pictures that are technically and aesthetically good. I was happy clicking pictures, posting and not worrying about number of comments I received until I posted this Organic Photography in People-SYS section which I thought I did a decent job (I guess I got over-confident). 2 comments from 220 views was little disheartening for me and I was asking myself what went wrong???Another thing that I should learn is to take these setbacks positively and bounce back strongly.

Anyway, I will make sure that this passion in me to click pictures never die and I improve the quality of pictures with the help of DPS. I am sure some day I get good responses in SYS section aswell.

Again I appreciate the response from all of you.. and whenever I would be feeling down I will come to this thread and get little encouragement
