Ok.. what am I missing? I am not seeing anything that would stand out as a "method", just seems like good photography to me!

I've been wanting to try it, but unless someone can tell me how to do seamless stictching in GIMP, I am going to hold off.

@ Papa. The Brenzier method is done to mimic the look of Medium format.

Wide angle, and a very shallow DOF.

Ah... against the limitations of my 4/3 format. Still should be able to duplicate...

Okay, I am seriously wondering something. At this link for example, it says you need up to 50 images! Another site I was at said plan on no less than 20. And apparently this processing can really take a toll on your computer.

So how is a Wedding Photographer finding the time to take all these shots required for this "method"?

And maybe it's just me, but is it really all that? Seems kinda like a bit more trouble than it's worth....

Interesting. Might give this a try.

Of course, I do also have a MF system sitting here... Damn film.

This would only be for 1 or 2 of the formal portraits. Once you get the swing of things, it only takes about a minute. Camera on burst mode and cover your planned frame. Not too big of a deal. They are also hiring him for this look, so he would probably explain the process up front and have the time scheduled into the day.
