Kickstarter projects?

I was just curious if anyone here has thought of using Kickstarter to help create a project?

I have listed two projects, one is VERY ambitious and I am kind of nervous if it actually gets funded because it will require a lot of time away from family to accomplish it. The other though is very reasonable and I am really hoping it gets funded. It is linked below.

I hadn't heard of them until I saw the post on Black Rapid's Facebook page yesterday. It definitely looks like a great way to get funding for some great projects.

Thank you! And yes Detroit was once a great city...The birthplace of the industrial age as far as many are concerned. And now it needs to re invent itself. I'm hoping my project can at least draw some kind of attention to the city and show that even in its worst moments, works of beauty can be found within her.

I noticed that you had another post in January, but funding for that project failed. How often do they let you repost the same project?

I don't know that there is a limit? I tried to change things up a bit in this round so as to make it a little different. The concept is the same, but the rewards are different.

Are you going to do a project?

Cool. I've submitted one, but I'm still waiting to see if it gets approved.
