avatar issue..

I'm having an issue creating an avatar. I keep getting the 'Invalid File' error.
My file is 80x80 and approximately 9Kb, so it meets all of the outlined requirements for an avatar image.

From what I could see searching through the forums, this has happened to other people as well. In one such thread, someone commented here and then an administrator did some magic administrative things and it was fixed.

I guess, I'm looking for more of that magic.

Please let me know if I should be trying something different.

same here, I'm glad I found this thread before starting a new one. I tried to upload for my profile picture as well as my avatar and both give me invalid file.

Nikonoob - yours is because of the tilda in your user name.

Well .. I'm not sure exactly what changed .. if anything.

But, I'm able to upload images for an Avatar and a Profile image now. The images are the same ones, it just works now.

And that's good enough for me.
