Default one down...

I just felt like sharing...
I'm FINALLY done with editing the photos from my first wedding!!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to overwhelm them with the number of photos but I was there for 10 hours and have a hard time narrowing down. Now I need to burn my CDs, wait for the book to come back from the printers, and I can see what they think!
Now I can start going to bed before 2:00...oh wait, except that I have two other sessions to edit, a 6 month baby session next week, and another wedding in two weeks...maybe I'll sleep next month...

Thanks for all of the opinions and advice!

Anyway you can share some pics from the wedding shoot? I'd live to see them.

Congrats. It was worth the effort. I'm sure the B&G will be thrilled.

Apparently because I have no idea of the difference...please explain! The file sizes are anywhere from 5-10MB. I also don't think I have the ability to burn DVDs...but I may be wrong because I've never tried.

A DVD capacity is 4.71 GB whereas as CD is only 750-ish GB.

If you have anywhere near a modern computer it should have a DVD/CD burner rather than CD only. It's hard to find a CD only machine off the shelf these days.

Also, what size files are you giving them? They really don't need to be more than 3000 pixels on the longest side and level 10 JPG. Even if you go with the common misconception that you need 300 DPI for print, you can get an 11x14 with with 4200 pixels. The reality of it is that an 11x14 printed at 200 DPI and one printed at 300 DPI are virtually indistinguishable from one another.
