Default Did I mess up? - [SOLVED]

I joined the forum a few days ago. I spent a couple of days lurking and trying to gather all the information I needed to add to the discussions here.

So last night I put a photo up on the "Share you Shot" forum. After posting it, I noticed that a moderator would have to approve the submission. That's cool, I understand that. This morning I posted another photo in the "Crituque" forum. It appeared and I even had one person comment on the shot.

A few hours later I came back to see if anyone else had commented because I was truly intrested in what you guy/gals thought about the shot. I then discovered it had been removed or hidden or something as I can't find it now.

I thought I was following the rules - one photo a day per forum - my images were 500px or less, linked to Flickr.

I don't have any PMs explaining why the photos were removed or what I've done to have them removed and I'm not sure who to ask about the issue - simply afraid that a ramdom PM with either go unnoticed, ignored or worse break some other rule.

I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, but I didn't know what else to do until I hear from a mod or other member that can straighten me out.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Kevin

Its probably just on the 3rd or 4th page by now where you didn't think to look. That place is a mess.

I did. I even searched the entire forum for posts by me. Only the posts that I've not included photos with are here - hence this post.

Yeah, it's not there. The only thread it shows you started was this one. I am sure if you PM Windrider, she can clear it up for you. Don't be afraid to pm the mods. They don't bite.........hard.

Hi, Kevin - I may be confused (happens often), but is this your SYS thread and is this your critique thread? Or am I missing something?

I found these by clicking on search, then advanced search, then searching for all threads started by you.

Have you figured out yet how to subscribe to threads? That's the easiest way I've found to keep track of your posts. Here's a link on how to subscribe.

And, I don't believe mods have to approve any submission to SYS or any other part of this forum. We're not that heavily moderated.

The forum has been "goofy" off and on for a month+....do't get too discouraged.

Every time I made an infraction to the rules (real or imaginary) I was definitely notified by given moderator.... If notice is not being given due to workload I would suggest a solution be explored...(not your problem)

Windrider was able to fix the problems and explain what happened.

(My first thread (SYS) needed a mod's approval. In the case of the second thread (Critique) I did not follow the rules because I had two photos in the post - which has been fixed now.)

Both of my threads are now in full operation.

Thanks again Windrider!

Yesterday evening, through a series of PMs, Windrider was able to get things resolved. That's why they're now visible.

Nice to see the π symbol replaced by a nicer image!
