Okay thats was disappointing I know not being a real lens.

DPReview forums are claiming that Canon was giving them to Press photogs at the Olympics as a parting gift.

Yea I think they should really just open it up and start producing them or at least in limited quantities but let the general public buy them.

There is a huge market for underground black market coffee mugs. I'm sure these are going to be a hot seller this year. I wouldn't be surprised if people were hurt over these coffee mugs.

They are that desirable.

Maybe their only that desireable to people like us?

Anyway its sad but I'd probably get more out the mug than the lens.

Don't get me wrong I think the lens was incredible. Just the mug is that much more useable.
