Default DPS 365: Day 1 (Wisdom)

Photo 1 of DPS 365 (Assignment: Wisdom) ... not really happy with this--didn't have time this morning to set a proper setting, so had to do with what little natural indoor light I had and what little cooperation Billy the Cat was willing to yield. Anyway, it's only day one and I have 364 more days to improve. (also posted this to the flickr group)

Great - more than 10 members ! Now I HAVE to continue with this

Thanks to all who joined - hope to see all 365 pics of each and everyone of you by this time next year !

Based on a bit of member feedback, I made a slight change to the group description (not going to call it rules). The theme is to be a challenge only - a way to bring out the creativity in you. The most important aspect of the group is to take a picture every day - if someone wants to opt out of the theme, they can certainly do so

I have put in my first entry - noticed a couple of others have as well.

Thanks -- will work on posting here. Took me awhile to do the flickr post as I was unfamilar with the site. Posted in photostream and then had to move to group. I post on my website too so worse case scenario I can paste that URL. Sorry -- old dog learning new tricks... Please be patient.

Default 1/365

This is my first 365 challenge. I am excited about what I may learn, am hopeful I can manage the daily photo requirement and looking forward to the vast subject range of this challenge.

When I think of wisdom I immediately think of my Dad. He was a photography teacher for 35+ yrs. Even though he is no longer living, I continue to learn from him through his photos he left behind.

My father's color slides on a lightbox.
