HoosierGal,

I like the one looking back at the house best. Looks like you live in a beautiful area!

I did this again the other day but it was so cold outside that I just walked through the house. Ok, that's probably cheating but it was really cold out!

I posted my indoor shot on my blog.

@HoosierGal: I loved your two shots. They looked like you were in a nice area that will get much better once the weather gets warmer.

@Bulldogmom: I made a flickr album and linked it back to your blog and DPS so no one would think the theme was my idea. Here is a sample of what I have out of the mini collection:

Babette, great shots. I think this one here, with the steps leading down to the long path is my fave.

Love the horizontal layout on your web page too! Nice work.

Default 100 steps at the park

My Granddaughter and I went to the park last night to take some photos. We were on the path, took a hundred steps and took some photos.

Here's mine...

and here's my Granddaughter's...

Thanks, BulldogMom and Babette. The area I live in isn't any great beauty, lots of cornfields. In fact, looking back at the house, there's a cornfield on the left, the right and behind. :-) But the trees in our yard will look pretty and green again soon.

I said I would post my photo showing 100 yards in the other direction (south). So here's my "shed". We had a big storm with lots of wind last Sunday, so lots of branches on the roof.

We have a very long skinny lot, shaped like Oklahoma in reverse, so 100 steps doesn't get me out of my own yard unless I walk east or west.
100 steps south

100 Steps - Walk

About 400 steps east from my house. There are 2 other new entries in my '100 Steps' set that I took on the same walk. There were some other interesting houses at 100 step increments, but they didn't seem too happy about me raising my camera up for a picture, so I walked on.

Nice shots guys. I'm off to visit the in-laws tomorrow. I'll have to play while I'm there and see where 100 steps from my car will get me!

200 steps after getting my new lens:

Test 1 - Chasing a Scooter

A few hundred steps later (I kept pausing at 100 step incriments):
Test 2 - Uninteresting Shot
