True-ish. Not a medical leper, but I prefer working by myself, and have a small social circle. (Oh yes - I don't have any 'bits' falling off either).

I didn't mean body parts falling off leper. Back then almost any kind of skin condition was considered a leper. Like contact dermatitis, eczema, rashes. The definition has changed quite a bit since then.
