This was just a simple satuation adjustment. A little dodge where the hair was dark underneath.

![]() In CS3 lightly sharpened; topaz filter to add definition in highlights lowlights in image; used mask to soften the topaz effects; duplicated layer, used healing brush and spot brush around eyes and nose, mask to bring mack some natural textures; burned and dodged eyes, and teeth - added light color to even out teeth; softened overall image (for skin) masked back sharpness in details - clothes, eyes, mouth, hair; unsharp mask to fix contrasting and line details viola! |

![]() So I did a few things here (in Gimp). First I cropped the photo some, to bring the subject more into the center. Then I removed the catch light from her eyes. Then I started adding layers. First I added a "touch of green" layer....which layers on multiple layers to create a light green effect. Then I add a sepia layer. These two together create a chocolate brown effect (one of my favorites). Then I pull up contrast and raise it some to the point where I like. Jack |
