Wink Balderdash!

I have an idea for a game. Let's see if anyone else thinks this will be fun. I took a photo of this "thing" when I was in an old ghost town in Arizona a couple of months ago. I have no idea what it is. But I thought it would be fun to see what kinds of descriptions you all might come up with.

Let's play like this: place a number on your post, and number them #1 through #10. Since I don't know what it is, then I don't know that we'll get a "winner" or "loser" ... but hopefully some funny concepts. After 10 descriptions have been posted, someone else should post their own photo of something that we might not know what it is, but we could conjecture.....

So here 'tis:

Let's hear YOUR creative explanation ... because I don't know what it is!

If it was a single "hook" it would obviously be for hanging up thingamajig's, but as there are 2 hooks, I guess it is for "his and hers thingamajig's

Is that a hook to hang a horse's saddle?

looks like the same tool I have seen used for skinning foxes and coyotes.. You hang them by the hind legs and there is a spot to put each hook through and then it makes for easy tube skinning.

The photo gives it away: this is a thong dryer.

The thong pictured is leather and metal, and not red, so most did not recognize it.

It's a template for gentlemen to follow while they are growing those mustaches.

Cowboys don't wear thongs!

It's to make sure that the nail stays securely in place.

Or . . . earthquake intensity measuring device:

- If device is ajar, a mild earthquake has occured.
- If device is on floor, a moderate earthquake has occured.
- If device has not moved, but wall is at the bottom of a 20-foot chasm, can you say "epicenter?"
