I LOVE my 50!! It's my favorite lens. It's the canon 1.8. One of these days I'll save my pennies and get the 1.4.

Thanks, Nobie! I really do use this lens for so many things and it rarely fails me. More likely, I fail it. :-)

I'm another one of those people who love this lens. It practically lives on my camera. But it's perfect for low light. Granted, I'm sure a 1.4 would be even better for it, but the 1.8 was much more in my budget.
