Sorry I missed last weeks challenge. My images to post are rather slim. Thanks Athens_Orm for allowing me to snitch this one from his Flickr photostream.
The rules for the challenge are simple. You can edit this photo in any way you see fit. Change it into something different, add character sto it or enagnce it in anyway, all you need to do is tell us the steps you took to acheive the look you ended up with. So with that being said: Let's see what you can do!! ![]() Link to larger image

Where is everyone???
All righty then, here's what I did. Changed the color and texture by using Niks Color Efex, Old photo. Next I used the warp tool on a duplicate layer to make the points int he hat more prominent and then ereased the areas around it that looked warped. Next i found a blue dragon and pasted it as a new layer and simply areas I needed to show thru

![]() For this image I wanted to reduce the distraction of the background and bring out a little more color beside blue. In Paint Shop Pro:

selected the left arm and put it in another layer. with rubberstamp, i erasedt the original arm from the bg layer.with with the rubber stamp tool and with free transform, adjusted the arm and with layer mask, i blended the arm to the body. i used the same procedure for the other arm but i used the clone tool to draw the missing parts of the right arm using different source points. got a picture of a broadsword and dragged to the photo. using free transform, adjusted the sword and with layer mask, blended the sword with the bg layer. flattened and saved. |

![]() The better question is what did I NOT do. I only have access to Picnik premium. I raised the exposure and contrast, color boost. faded daguerotype, hdr, duo tone, neon, applied a texture, cropped the everloving mess out of it, framed it, texted it and made it a blog header for my blog. I think I'll save it for Halloween time. Paige |
