Fuji HS10

I am trying to decide between the HS10 and Nikon d5000. Any comments welcome!

Not sure why you are trying to compare the HS10 to the D5000. A better one would be to the Nikon P100 or Canon SX20IS, or even the FZ-35. I had finally narrowed my own choices down to the HS10 or P100 and finally went with P100 just on price. I probably could have gotten an interchangeable lens camera for that 400bucks but I wasn't nearly that confident in jumping off directly into the deep end of the photog pool.

I am enjoying the P100 greatly, no regrets.
