  • Wellington Aproach from a different angle!

    Whilst out searcing for birds to photograph, we "happened" to pass by my favpourite spot!! I decided to push the boundaries and go where I shouldn't and got these shots. The sounds and feelings of the planes very low above me were awesome!

    The wind was very gusty and the light kept changing but it was a great experience. I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for looking.

        Very nice, the effort you put in shows.

        I assume you used the 70 - 300 L?

                Thanks Zafarsami, good to have you back. I'm still learning how to use the 70-300 and it's quite difficult to get perfect shots! But hey they don't cost anything.

                Thanks blinkshot, might as well have been!! I was at the wall at the end of the runway about a meter below the level but dead centre! It was quite an experience and if you look at a full zoomed shot of the Cessna you can see the pilot looking at me!!
