Just thought I would share this picture I took last night. I was practicing taking pictures of water drops and after about 200 shots this is one of about 5 that I'm not that embarrassed to post. I rather like it. I still got a lot to learn. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

Good job! I like it. I like the devotion as well. In the thumbnail I thought there was a guy in the water, turns iut it was the splash. Looks like acua man or something.

A beautiful shot. I can see a Lady in a long gown with her head bowed. I have never tried droplets apart from when I was making blackberry & apple jelly a year or so back. You have inspired me to have another try. TFS

Thank you septicmike for your kind reply and welcome to the group. Most people that see this shot have a similar response about looking like a human figure. I wish I could take credit for that but splash shots are like snow flakes no two are the same. The only difference is ALL snow flakes are beautiful where as splash shots are 1 in 200 in this case.
Thanks again for your reply and have a safe New Year.

Thank you for your kind reply. My wife said it reminded her of a Japanese lady in a Kimono. Those shots you posted had my mouth watering. It's breakfast time here in Florida and some of that homemade blackberry jam would be a nice complement to my wifes wonderfully toasted bread. Have a safe New Year and I look forward to seeing some of your inspired shots.

Thanks Debora72. The humane figure seems to be the consensus about this shot. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Have a safe New Year.

Thanks Minicooper. I will be looking froward to seeing some of your shots. And I think patiences comes naturally when you apply it to someone or something you love. Have a safe New Year.

Thanks Heaterguy for the reality check. And I do understand that the replays can take awhile. A lot of variables. Time zones, taste, signed in or not stuff like that. But I was beginning to think I might have said something in a post some where that did not set well with the group. My own issues though. Thanks again for the reply to my post.

Take it easy - it's holiday time, lots of eating and drinking to do, commenting on pics not top priority for folks.

I like your pic, you have a lot of patience to shoot so many. I'd like to see it in colour.
